Destruction and war go hand and hand. One of them cannot happen without having the other close behind. The art displayed on the blog “Art In Times of war” by Dora Lui expose and focus on one kind of destruction that war causes. This blog shows the cold and terrifying face of death. The people shown in these pieces of work met their untimely end through war and conflict. Death is one of the worst types of destruction that war can cause. War can cause forests to die due to herbicides and can cause a division in society, but these things can be mended. Forests will grow back and society may recover from splits due to political issues, but lives cannot not be recovered once they have been taken by the cold, sharp blade of death.
